the Desert Shoot

the Desert is a serious hike from San Diego. Today we drove an hour and a half both ways to get these photos. I'm pleased with the outcome and always down for an adventure. I hope the bride lets me ruin her real wedding dress like we did this one.. Look at Trash the dress

Nick and Kelly wrote a little something

Thank you Josh and One Love Photography for helping to make our wedding day special and giving us the photos that will help us remember it forever. We live in Colorado, so we had the challenge of finding high-quality vendors in San Diego without having a face to face interview. We did the necessary research about Josh and his previous work and decided we wanted to use him for our wedding. We actually got the chance to meet with Josh, as he went as far as meeting us in Colorado. We had a lovely interview with Josh and were more convinced that he was the right photographer for us. At this meeting we found that Josh was outgoing, easy going, funny and very passionate about his work. This is exactly what we were looking for.
On the day of the wedding, Josh and his second photographer Veronica came to the hotel a couple hours before the ceremony and took candid photos that add some humor to our photo album; they also took very innovative photos of the bride. At the ceremony, they snapped hundreds of photos to make sure we would remember every part of this day. After the necessary wedding party and family photos, Josh used the beautiful beach scenery to shoot photos of just the two of us and captured how in love we really are. At the reception, they knew just the right photos to take to capture all of us in our funniest and best moments. He had also made a very lovely slideshow of us growing up and of our relationship and actually added in photos that were taken that day. It was just beautiful! The great service didn’t end when the night ended either…We continued to speak with Josh about the photos and he continued to bend over backwards to get us what we needed.
We have all the photos we could ever need as they took over 700 photos for us. We are extremely satisfied with the work put into our wedding and thank you for helping to make our wedding extra special!

Nick and Kelly's Destination Wedding

Nick and Kelly came all the way from Colorado to get married Saturday. They brought a party of 50+ people to join them in San Diego. The wedding was coordinated by Diana Romero and the whole thing went very seamlessly. The Bridal Party was ushered around by Michel's Limousines. The wedding ceremony was located in front of the Hotel Del Coronado on Coronado Central Beach. (which was an amazing location) The Party then went on to celebrate in Point Loma at Tom Ham's Light House. The DJ, Russ, rocked the house. It was an emotional roller coaster from laughing to crying to dancing. Last but not least, The event was covered by the One Love Photography team (who also provided an emotionally charged Photo slide show of the bride and groom.)

Red Bull flies too close for comfort

On Friday we had the opportunity to shoot a wedding on Coronado Island facing Downtown San Diego. Little did we know there was a Red Bull Airplane competition going on and the wedding site was flooded with people. Lucky they cleared out by the time of the wedding.

Trash the Dress!

By the way, I am looking for brides that would be willing to make the final commitment to their man, by trashing their dress after the wedding! Its for the sake of art. I will shoot the first 3 dress trashings for free so hurry up and get married. (By the way you dont have to trash your own dress. You can find suitable dresses at most cleaners for around $20 a dress.) visit Trash the Dress to see what its all about. Sounds like fun to me...

Nice Day for a Black Wedding
